Regis, Philadelphia, August 1990. When I was a student, I used to work as a 'Jack and Jill' ice-cream truck driver in Philadelphia at summertime. It is one of my best souvenir of my student years...It was a hard job though, working 15 hours a day, 7 days a week, no day off...I even meet there one of my best friend, I am now the godfather of his son... Life is funny. The French truck drivers used to live together on Penn University campus, in a so called fraternity house (ours was 'Beta Theta Pi'). Regis was one of them...a tough guy, who kept on joking about everything...He was from Nantes if I recall well...He wish we could have a beer together, playing poker all night long, as we used to do with our nickels....
